Lehigh Valley GP: Week Six of Winter Junior League Features Plenty of Action

The Lehigh Valley Grand Prix Junior Winter League racers returned to the driver's seat recently, with Round Six at the Eastern Pennsylvania indoor karting facility.

The action in Group A got off to a great start, with 'Andrew', 'Wall Muncher' and 'Knux' dueling for the pole position. Setting the stage for what would ultimately be another successful night behind the wheel, 'Andrew' took home the honors. That trend continued in the Feature race, as the championship leader managed to hold off challenges from 'Grand Zero', 'Sensei Wolf', 'Wall Muncher' and 'Passer', extending his championship advantage.

The Group B racers provided some of the best racing on the night, as multiple drivers diced for the win in the 20-lap affair. Championship leader 'Z Racer' elected to start from the rear of the field, despite having topped the timesheets in qualifying. As a result, 'Brian S' and 'Wall Rider' battled for the lead early on, before 'Z Racer' joined the fray. With three lead changes on the final lap, the order was only determined as the karts crossed the stripe. 'Brian S' in the end scored his first league win, ahead of 'Wall Rider' and 'Z Racer'. Completing the top-five were 'Digit' and 'James'.

Given Group C features one of the closest title fights, it came as no surprise that the fight for week six honors was a heated affair. 'Outrage' returned to victory lane with his third win of the season. 'Joey' and 'Matthieu' joined in the podium celebrations, leading 'Insano' and 'Shale' to the checkered flag.

The battle for Group D honors on the night once again witnessed a talented group of junior racers going head-to-head. After a one-week hiatus, 'Sam' returned to action in perfect style, scoring his second series win. 'CPTNCHAOS' retained the championship lead with a runner-up result, while 'Adam' completed the top-three. Finishing fourth and fifth were 'Rex' and 'Dale B'.

In a repeat of the previous several weeks, 'C-note' was the driver to beat in Group E. The championship leader extended his title advantage, winning for a fifth straight week, leading 'Stephen' and 'Smok-n-mac' to the start/finish stripe. 'Go Toe' finished fourth, edging 'Darth-Lutte' at the flag.

When the Lehigh Valley Grand Prix Junior League drivers return to action 'Andrew' leads (50-37) 'Sensei Wolf' in Group A. 'ZRacer' remains ahead (40-31) of 'Wall Rider' in Group B. Group C features 'Outrage' in front (31-30) of 'Outrage'. 'CPTNCHAOS' leads Group D (33-26) over 'Dale B'. In Group E, 'C-Note' remains is ahead (41-36) of 'Stephen'.
